minutesRecipe for broccoli salad with creamy homemade dressings. Also called broccoli burst salad or broccoli slaw, this simple salad is a favorite everywhere and packed with healthy broccoli!

Ingredients
1 pound broccoli pieces
1/4 cup diced red onion (one small red onion, or half of one medium/large)
1/2 cup craisens or dried cherries
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup bacon bits (or 4 slices bacon, cooked in cut into small pieces)
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
Directions
- Mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar in a large bowl.
- Add the diced onion, craisens, sunflower seeds and bacon.
- Add the broccoli and mix well.
- Refrigerate until serving.
Recipe Video
Notes
- For Vegan option, use vegan mayonnaise and omit bacon.
- For Paleo option, use a paleo approved sweeter instead of sugar.
