Mom’s homemade eggroll recipe. Meat or vegetable filling choice can be substituted as desired.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound 1 ground pork

  • 2 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp 1 black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 salt

  • 1 tsp 1 garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp 2 fish sauce

  • 1 cup 1 mung bean sprouts

  • 1 cup 1 rice noodles, prepared

  • 1 cup 1 shredded cabbage

  • 1 cup 1 grated cabbage

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 green onion, finely sliced

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 white onion, diced

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cilantro, finely sliced

  • 1 package 1 eggroll wrappers

Directions

  • Combine ground pork, eggs, and seasonings.
  • Add remaining ingredients and combine.
  • Roll eggroll wrapper with approximately 1/2 cup filling. Use water to seal wrapper.
  • Fry until filling in done. Approximately 10 minutes over medium heat. Time may vary based on thickness of finished eggrolls.

Notes

  • Prepare rice noodles to package directions. Also consider chopping noodles so they are easier to eat when done.
