Ingredients

  • 1 cup 1 white sugar

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cocoa powder, unsweetened

  • 1-1/2 cups 1-1/2 flour

  • 1 tsp 1 baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 salt

  • Sift together all dry ingredients, then add in
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 oil or melted butter

  • 2 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp 1 vanilla

  • Roll into balls, then roll in powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup 1/3 powdered sugar

Directions

  • PREHEAT: Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • DRY INGREDIENTS: Sift together all dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl.
  • WET INGREDIENTS: Add the eggs and oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until dough forms.
  • ROLL COOKIES: Roll dough into 20 balls and then roll in the confectioners sugar.
  • BAKE: Bake at 375 degrees until fragrant, crinkling and just done on outside edges.
  • COOL: Remove from oven and cool on a baking rack.
