Ingredients

  • For the egg custard, beat together:
  • 2 2 Eggs

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 milk

  • 1 tsp 1 vanilla

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 baking soda

  • 1 tbsp 1 vanilla extract

  • Remaining Ingredients
  • 2-4 slices 2-4 bread of choice, depending on bread thickness

  • butter, for cooking and serving

  • confectioner sugar, for dusting (optional)

Directions

  • MAKE CUSTARD: Mix all custard ingredients together, whipping with a fork
  • BREAD: Dip bread in the custard, until fully saturated on both sides.
  • COOK: Cook on medium high heat in preheated skillet with butter. Flip when bread rises in the center.
  • SERVE: Remove from heat and dust with confectioner’s sugar. Top with butter and syrup and serve.
