minutesOur favorite chocolate chip cookies! Thick and tender, perfectly balanced flavors. This is an easy basic recipe for chocolate chip cookies.

Ingredients
- Cream butter with Sugars
1/2 cup 1/2 butter (1 stick)
1/4 cup 1/4 white sugar
3/4 cup 3/4 brown sugar
- Add in egg and vanilla
1 1 egg
1 tsp 1 vanilla
- Sift dry ingredients together, then fold in
1 tsp 1 baking soda
2 cups 2 all purpose flour
2 cups 2 chocolate chips (1 12oz package)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream butter with sugars in mixing bowl.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix until blended.
- In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Add chocolate chips.
- Roll into balls and place on to a prepared baking sheet
- Bake for about 10 minutes until edges are just golden brown. Do not overbake.
- Let cool.
