Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 water

  • 1-2 pounds 1-2 ground sausage

  • 2 tbsp 2 butter

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 flour

  • 2 cups 2 milk

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 salt

  • 1 tsp 1 black pepper

Directions

  • Brown sausage in water with lid on on medium heat, breaking sausage up.
  • When sausage is browned, add butter and sprinkle with flour.
  • Mix to evenly coat sausage with flour.
  • Add milk and mix continuously until gravy thickens.
  • Remove from heat and serve.
