Ingredients
1/4 cup 1/4 water
1-2 pounds 1-2 ground sausage
2 tbsp 2 butter
1/4 cup 1/4 flour
2 cups 2 milk
1/2 tsp 1/2 salt
1 tsp 1 black pepper
Directions
- Brown sausage in water with lid on on medium heat, breaking sausage up.
- When sausage is browned, add butter and sprinkle with flour.
- Mix to evenly coat sausage with flour.
- Add milk and mix continuously until gravy thickens.
- Remove from heat and serve.
