Ingredients
7 medium to large potatoes, any variety
4 tbsp (half a stick) of butter
1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
1/3 cup whole milk
1/2-1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Wash and peel (optional) potatoes and dice up.
- Boil potatoes in large pot about 10 minutes, until potato splits easily when pierced with a fork.
- Drain potatoes and place in mixing bowl.
- Add butter.
- Beat on low to medium until fully mixed and consistent.
- Add remaining ingredients and season to taste.
