Here’s an easy summer dessert idea – just three ingredients to make! Stock pie filling and cake mix in your pantry, so you can throw this together anytime.

Blueberry Dump Cake (3 Ingredient)

Ingredients

  • 1 can 1 blueberry pie filling (can use other pie fillings)

  • 1 box 1 white cake mix

  • 1 stick 1 butter, thinly sliced (1/2 cup total)

  • Recommended Toppings
  • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

  • Strawberry topping for a Red, White and Blue theme

Directions

  • DUMP: In a 12×9 baking dish, dump the pie filling. Sprinkle with cake mix and cover with thinly sliced butter.
  • BAKE: Bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees for about 45 minutes until cake part is golden brown.
  • SERVE: Serve with ice cream or whipped cream/topping and garnish with fresh berries or strawberry topping.

Notes

  • FOURTH OF JULY: For a fun, festive Fourth of July treat, use a blue pie filling (blackberry or blueberry), and top with strawberry dessert topping or thawed frozen strawberries in juice.
