Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oi

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2-3 cups broccoli pieces

  • 1-2 pounds smoked sausage

  • 4 cups chicken stock (or make your own using bouillon)

  • 2 cups uncooked jasmine rice

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • On saute setting in Instant Pot, saute onions, broccoli, sausage in olive oil and butter.
  • Add chicken stock, rice, and seasonings.
  • Cook on rice setting in Instant Pot.
  • When finished, release pressure.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and serve.
