Ingredients

  • 4 Tablespoons 4 unsalted butter

  • 3 3 eggs

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 flour

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 milk

  • 1 Tablespoon 1 Sugar

  • 1 teaspoon 1 vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 salt

Directions

  • In a 9-10 inch cast iron skillet (or a glass baking dish) melt the butter in a oven preheated at 425 degrees. Let the butter cook while you make the batter.
  • In a blender or using a hand mixer, blend together the eggs, flour, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  • Once the batter is completely combined pour into the center of the hot melted butter in the hot cast iron skillet
  • Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Dust with powdered sugar and serve with your favorite berries, maple syrup, yogurt, or jam.
