Tiramisu is a simple no bake dessert cake that looks fancy and tastes extraordinary. Try this for all the decadence of a chocolate espresso cheesecake, without the work and time.

Ingredients

  • Cream Layer
  • 1 1/2 c 1 1/2 heavy whipping cream

  • 8 ounces 8 mascarpone cheese (can substitute cream cheese)

  • 1/3 cup 1/3 sugar

  • 1 t 1 vanilla

  • Ladyfinger Layer
  • 1 1/2 c 1 1/2 strong coffee ( cooled)

  • 1 package 1 lady fingers

  • Cocoa Powder Topping
  • 1 – 2 T 1 – 2 cocoa powder

Directions

  • Cream Layer
  • In a mixing bowl beat the whipping cream on medium speed.
  • Add in the sugar and vanilla and continue to beat until stiff peaks
  • Add the mascarpone cheese and beat until fully incorporated. Set aside
  • Lady Finger Layer
  • Pour the espresso coffee in a shallow bowl and dip/roll the lady fingers in the coffee. Do not soak in the coffee. Place in a dish in a single layer after dipping in coffee.
  • Assembling the Tiramisu Layers
  • Spread 1/2 the mascarpone cream over the lady fingers in an even layer.
  • Repeat with 1 more layer of the espresso dipped lady fingers and a final layer of the remaining mascarpone cream.
  • TOPPING: Dust cocoa powder on the top and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight
