Ingredients
- Cream Layer
1 1/2 c 1 1/2 heavy whipping cream
8 ounces 8 mascarpone cheese (can substitute cream cheese)
1/3 cup 1/3 sugar
1 t 1 vanilla
- Ladyfinger Layer
1 1/2 c 1 1/2 strong coffee ( cooled)
1 package 1 lady fingers
- Cocoa Powder Topping
1 – 2 T 1 – 2 cocoa powder
Directions
- Cream Layer
- In a mixing bowl beat the whipping cream on medium speed.
- Add in the sugar and vanilla and continue to beat until stiff peaks
- Add the mascarpone cheese and beat until fully incorporated. Set aside
- Lady Finger Layer
- Pour the espresso coffee in a shallow bowl and dip/roll the lady fingers in the coffee. Do not soak in the coffee. Place in a dish in a single layer after dipping in coffee.
- Assembling the Tiramisu Layers
- Spread 1/2 the mascarpone cream over the lady fingers in an even layer.
- Repeat with 1 more layer of the espresso dipped lady fingers and a final layer of the remaining mascarpone cream.
- TOPPING: Dust cocoa powder on the top and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight
