Ingredients
1 cup 1 sugar
1 cup 1 water
4-8 4-8 lemons, juiced to make 1 cup lemon juice
4-5 cups 4-5 water to top off
Directions
- DISOLVE SUGAR: To make the sugar disolve and not be grainy, first, boil sugar in 1 cup water, stirring to combine. The mixture will go from cloudy to clear and glassy when ready. Remove from heat.
- SQUEEZE LEMONS: Use a lemon juicer or squeezer to juice the lemons. Juice enough lemons to make 1 cup of juice. 4 extra large lemons or 8 small lemons is a good estimate.
- MIX TOGETHER: In a half gallon pitcher, mix all ingredients together. Top off with water to fill pitcher.
- SERVE: Serve over ice, garnish with lemons and mint leaves.
