minutesPerfect pizza dough recipe. Make homemade pizza with fresh baked bread crust with this simple easy to follow recipe. Makes dough for one extra large or two medium pizzas. Top with homemade pizza sauce (see recipe) and favorite toppings.

Ingredients
1 cup 1 warm water
1 tbsp 1 instant yeast (or 1 packet)
2 tbsp 2 sugar
3 tbsp 3 olive oil
1 tsp 1 salt
2-1/2 cups 2-1/2 flour
Directions
- Mix yeast with warm water and sugar.
- Let set for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Knead until tacky but not sticky – will not stick to a clean finger.
- Dough can be refrigerated for later use at this point.
- Let rise about 30 minutes (optional).
- Form into pizza crusts.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Let rise for about 20 minutes while oven preheats.
- Bake until almost done, slightly golden brown on edges.
- Top with sauces and toppings.
- Finish baking.

This is great Ana! I love the direction your creations are going. I’d like to suggest a variation for the recipe if I may. I’ve added beer (pilsner, amber, lager, wheat, or a pale ale – no stout maybe too strong) instead of water for a more savory flavor.
